Poor little brother

He's actually pretty much all better today, but he's been one sick kiddo this week.  The virus that went around all our kids seemed to hit him again.  Or it was an all-new one.  We ended up at the doctor, where the gave him a steroid to help get rid of the cough and prescribed antibiotics to get rid of his ear infection.  He just wanted to cuddle, and every time he coughed he would cry rather pathetically.  Poor baby!  The doctor had to check the back of his throat, which made him even more sad.  The doctor looked at the tear-filled brown eyes and said "Oh my goodness, that is SAD!"  When we were all done, Little brother remember his manners and said "Thank you." in the most pathetic voice you've ever heard.  This boy knows how to make a sad face, and how to make himself sound extra sad.  Add that in when he's actually got a reason to be sad, and it's just heartbreaking!  Fortunately, he is now bouncing around the house like nothing ever happened.  Gotta love resilient kiddos!
