Going to the library

We decided to take all the kiddos to the library after school yesterday.  They love checking out their own books.  We'd been there for a couple minutes when an employee approached us and asked if we would like to participate in "Reading with Abby."  Abby is a therapy dog.  We told them we'd love to!  The kids were thrilled.  Both the girls read a book to this sweet dog.  Big brother was in love with how soft her fur was.  Of course.  Little brother was a little nervous at first.  But he finally got brave enough to pet her if Daddy was holding him.  He ended up giving Abby a great big hug!  So glad we decided to make an impromptu visit to the library!  The kids got prizes afterward, and a paw stamp on their hands.  I am loving that big brother picked a kazoo.  Or I am loving that said kazoo broke about an hour after we got home because all the kids were fighting over it.  Darn.
