Decorating for Christmas

We spent most of yesterday putting up Christmas decorations.  I was a little sad to discover that my garland for my railing has bit the dust.  Along with several other strands of lights.  I went to Smith's to buy new strands, but when I got home I discovered that they are the blinking kind, no way to turn off the blinking.  That'll drive me nuts.  So we'll have to finish that stuff later when I can safely venture out to stores again.  We're planning on making countdown chains with the cousins today, and eating pizza.  My parents came over last night and we enjoyed some turkey leftovers.  And I am seriously considering just not decorating the Christmas tree this year.  Between big brother and little brother, I'm just seeing disaster...
