Mackay Idaho 3

I really didn't take very many pictures on this trip.  We were spending so much time just having fun that I really wasn't getting my camera out very much.  Day 3 of our trip we spent doing a little more exploring.  We took the four wheelers down to the damn and it was cool to watch how powerful the water was and to see all the fish gathered at the spillway.  More swimming, more four-wheeling, and lots of eating. Shaye and her family got there in the late afternoon, so we all helped them get set up.  That night was our turkey leg roast. A friend of mine had given me his dutch oven cook book and there was a really easy recipe for turkey legs in it.  We decided that sounded yummy.  Since we'd never done it before, there was a bit of a learning curve.  But we figured it out and were rewarded with some SERIOUSLY yummy turkey legs.  I wasn't sure how much my kids would eat, but they all pretty much ate their own leg all the way to the bone. The sign of a good meal!

Fun to have the whole family gathered around the fire pit!
That night we ended up with a bunch of extra people in our trailer - The teenagers told me it was the party trailer.  They played lots of card games in here throughout the week!
