Mackay Idaho 2

Our first full day in Mackay, little brother was up bright and early and ready to go.  He can't drive the four wheelers in Utah because you have to be 8 in order to have a license.  In Idaho, you only have to be 6 if you have adult supervision.  So little brother was VERY excited to learn how to ride Little Blue.  He and his cousins spent every possible moment puttering around on the four wheeler.  It was fun to watch him learn, and have that huge smile on his face. Being able to drive it by himself was the highlight of the week for him.  Since we weren't in the actual campground, the kids could just beat a path all around the fields we were camped in, which was perfect.  Little brother is a very good driver so far.  Very cautious and obeys all the rules.  Let's hope it stays that way!
The reservoir was cold, but not too bad once you got used to it.  All the boys wasted no time cooling off in the water and splashing around.  That was how the day was spent - four wheeling and swimming in the lake.  Perfect!
