February

At the beginning of February, we had a visit from our favorite cousin, Tiffany.  She brought her sweet baby to play.  It was super fun to see them.  Big sister loved the baby cuddles.  I rather enjoyed putting Tiffany to bed and then getting the baby to sleep, too.  Mom's need their rest!
Daddy decided the apricot tree needed trimming because it was digging into the roof of the shed.  Little brother was thrilled to climb on the roof and help trim the tree and repair the roof.
When little sister and big brother got home, they joined in on helping trim the branches down for firewood.  They all love to help Dad!
Valentines Day was, as usual, a family affair.  Husband and Wife went to breakfast together.  In the evening, we had a yummy steak dinner with the kids, and then we broke out the chocolate fountain.  I love celebrating the day of love with my whole family.  It feels so much more meaningful than just focusing on romantic stuff.  (Plus, if I excluded the kids I'd have to consume the entire chocolate fountain with only Husband to help.  Not good for the waistline...)
Little brother in the dentist chair.  Again.  As usual.  With all three of the older kids, only big sister has had one teensy weensy cavity that they didn't even have to numb when they drilled.  Little brother is making up for that.  We'd just had our cleaning in December, but mid February here we were, getting cavities drilled and filled.  Fortunately, he is one brave kiddo.  He endures the shots like a champ, and stays still and cooperates so the dentist can actually do the work that needs to be done.
Little brother also lost his very first tooth!  His kindergarten teacher had told him that if he just used some tissue, grabbed it and pulled hard, it would come out.  So he tried it out all by himself without asking me for help.  What do you know, it worked!!!

Big sister and wife got to participate in our ward's Young Women's New Beginnings program.  They took some fun photos of everyone to display that night.  Here's big sister's:
 Here's mom:
The leaders all dressed up like Value Superheros.  Wife got to be Choice and Accountability and rock the color Orange!
