24th of July

We had so much fun going to the Bees game for Pioneer Day last year that we decided to do it again this year.  When tickets were available, we jumped on and got some better seats.  Last year whenever people came up the stairs, a lot of them would just stop to watch what was going on and it blocked the entire view of the field.  So we stayed in the front of the balcony, but moved over one section.  We also stayed right next to the aisle, so it was easy to get in and out for bathroom breaks, etc.  We got there a little earlier this year and stopped to buy hamburgers and fries and drinks for everyone before heading to our seats.  The kids enjoyed their expensive dinner, and had fun watching all the pre-game stuff.  The game was fun, and the kids had a good time.  Little brother was pretty into the actual game, the others were happy as long as we kept them supplied with Dippin' Dots and other treats.  Aunt Scooby and her family came, but her seats ended being one section over.  So we waved from time to time, lol!

The fireworks were the main reason we went, and we were not disappointed.  Big brother and little sister both had their noise cancelling headphones and they were pretty happy with that arrangement.  It was the perfect way to spend Pioneer Day!
