Recovery

Husband had a bit of a rough day yesterday.  He experienced the joy of the burning sensation in his eyes, and the Valium had him pretty well knocked out.  I was worried when I woke him up to put drops in because he could barely open his eyes and then only for a second or two.  Those first few hours were rough for him.  Fortunately, by evening he was much better.  He was able to join us for dinner (we kept the lights down). He helped put the kids to bed and was even able to watch a bit of tv with me.  He slept well, and this morning was much better.  His appointment with the eye doctor went well this morning, and his vision is great.  The discomfort is gone.  Hooray!  It's so exciting to be able to see!!!!!
