Little sister

We sure love this little sister of ours.  She's spunky, sassy, sweet, sensitive and just overall awesome.  She still has no filter, which can be good and bad.  We always know exactly what she's thinking, whether that's appropriate to share or not.  She keeps us laughing, that's for sure.  She's doing awesome in 3rd grade.  It's worked out that she's still on the waiting list for the charter school.  She'll get in for 4th grade, I'm sure.  But her teacher for this year and the kids in her class have been so good for her.  When she started the year, she was still struggling to get her work done.  Same problem as last year, really.  Just learning to focus and finish.  At the beginning of the school year when Daddy gave her a blessing, he blessed her that she would be able to complete her work.  We worked with her teacher (who is awesome and noticed within the first few days that this was an issue) and talked with little sister and eventually worked some things out.  She is doing much better and rarely has to bring things home that should have been finished in class.  She works hard, this one!  She's becoming quite the little pianist, and is so excited to play her favorite Christmas song (Silent Night) in our next piano recital.  Yup, she's a keeper!
