We had a very nice Christmas. We did the traditional stuff, all pretty low key and low stress. The kids had a blast and for once we didn't overdo it on presents. Big sister really seemed to get the real reason we celebrate. While watching a kids show, a problem arose where Santa was going to cancel Christmas because there weren't any presents. She turned to me and said "Santa can't cancel Christmas. You can still have Christmas without presents. It's still Jesus's birthday." She totally got it. I love that. We had to have a talk with big sister about leaving her new pens on the floor. We're lucky little brother didn't poke his eye out! (Look closely, you'll see he drew on his own face with the pen!)
