For the great eclipse of August 2017, Daddy headed up to Mackay, Idaho with wife's dad and the other brothers-in-law to view the total eclipse. They had a really fun time and everyone said that it was so much cooler than they thought it would be. They took the four-wheelers and spent some time driving around - there's lots of cool places to go in Mackay!
Here at home, we let the kids stay home from school for the morning so that they could watch the partial eclipse from our backyard. It was pretty awesome to see how the temperature dropped and the light went very dim. It was awesome to really experience what a difference the sun and the light that comes from the sun makes.
