Easter!

We loved having Conference over Easter. It was pretty low-key around here. We did the usual Easter stuff. We dyed Easter eggs . They did their hunt for candy-filled eggs Saturday morning. The Easter Bunny also brought them each a slinky. We, therefore, spent a lot of time this weekend untangling slinky's. We'll have to tell him no slinky's next year! The kids had fun, but big sister also remembered why we celebrate. Love that! We had yummy belgian waffles with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, and of course bacon for breakfast Saturday morning, too. On Sunday, we went to Husband's sister's house to see their newly finished basement and have dinner with them. Their basement looks AWESOME! The kids got to hunt more eggs after the afternoon session of Conference. No pics of that one, though. My battery died! We have enough candy for awhile, anyway! Big sister got to have a sleepover with her cousin, and they both LOVED that! They even got some sleep - until little sister fell out of bed around 5am and woke everybody up. It was a very nice weekend, and now we are enjoying big sister being off track. We all get to sleep in a little, and I am loving that!
