We had a fabulous Halloween season this year! Big sister helped little sister get pretty excited. We attended our ward's fall festival, which was a blast. Mommy helped the primary with their booths while Daddy took the kids around to all of the other booths. They loved dressing in their costumes and getting their faces painted, temporary Halloween tattoos, a bean bag toss, a fish pond, doughnuts on a string, and home made root beer. No pics of that, but it was a lot of fun and well attended! Big sister got to do her first school parade and LOVED it. We carved pumpkins, ate lots of candy, showed off costumes to grandma, and all that good Halloween fun. Tonight, Daddy took the girls trick-or-treating. Little sister was thrilled that she was getting lots of candy. They went out for 30 minutes, then they had to come back because Mom forgot to remind big sister to go potty before she left. Silly Mommy. They went back out and were gone almost another hour! They probably would have gone longer but Daddy said that little sister was shaking from the cold. She also didn't take a nap, despite Mommy's efforts for 3 hours earlier in the day. So she was very tired. But they loved trick-or-treating, especially with Daddy. Little sister even managed to say trick-or-treat. Big sister was so great to show her little sister how it was done, and was beyond excited for a week before the big day!

Big sister cleaning out the guts. Little sister and brother were both asleep. She is in the middle of saying "GROSS! Daddy, you do it!"

A true artist....His father-in-law will be proud!

The pumpkins - they don't show up so well on the camera!

Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Charlie Brown and the Mad Scientist

Tinkerbell

She's dressed as Cinderella, but as far as she is concerned she was dressed as June, from the Little Einsteins. Ready for the glass slipper ball! Whatever makes her happy. We had to pin up her dress quite a big so she could walk without tripping.

Charlie Brown

The Mad Scientist

Little Sister trying on Mommy's glasses before bedtime.

Lions and tigers and charlie, oh my!
